Region Lock Policy — Extract from “BESTFIVE Terms”, Section O
-To ensure stable server performance, maintain a fair gaming environment, and comply with regional laws and regulatory requirements, our game servers implement a cross-regional access restriction (“Region Lock”) policy.
● Ranked (Ladder) servers are accessible only within their designated countries/regions. (Custom rooms and match rooms are not region-restricted.)
● The system automatically determines the user’s region based on the IP address, network routing, or geographic location at the time of registration.
● Once registration is completed, the region cannot be changed manually. If a region change is required due to special circumstances, please send the relevant details to support@bestfive.gg for review.
● Users attempting to connect from unsupported regions may experience connection failure, abnormal latency, or access denial.
● BESTFIVE reserves the right to take action against accounts involved in malicious cross-region gameplay. Malicious
cross-region behavior includes, but is not limited to:
○ Using account names, avatars, bios, or any account information that violates local/regional laws or regulations;
○ Inciting hatred, discrimination, harming public interests, or disrupting social unity;
○ Spreading rumors, encouraging criminal activity, or leaking local/regional confidential information;
○ AFK behavior, quitting matches, or intentional negative gameplay;
○ Verbal harassment, insults, offensive nicknames, or abusive behavior.
● Actions BESTFIVE may take against violating accounts include, but are not limited to:
○ Modifying, deleting, or blocking relevant content;
○ Issuing warnings or muting accounts;
○ Adjusting, restricting, or disabling certain or all functions of violating accounts;
○ Suspending, limiting, or terminating the rights of violating accounts on the BESTFIVE platform;
○ Deactivating, temporarily or permanently banning such accounts;
○ Reporting the account to local/regional regulatory authorities or government agencies;
○ Taking any other measures deemed appropriate by the BESTFIVE operations team.
